ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

World-renowned classical guitarist, Ayman Jarjour will be performing in Gloucester, Massachusetts on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:00pm. Concert will take place at St. John's Episcopal Church. Ayman will be performing free of charge with donations to benefit Cape Ann's refugee families. This special Gloucester performance is organized by the Friends of Cape Ann Refugees, a group of people whose mission is to help create community for newly-settled families from Syria and Afghanistan. Donations of cash and checks (payable to WGTCC) will be gratefully accepted at the door. A reception featuring Syrian treats will follow when there will be an opportunity to meet Ayman.

St. John's has graciously donated use of the church for this special performance.

MEET THE MUSICIAN

AYMAN JARJOUR

Ayman, a native of Syria is a graduate of the Julliard School in New York and has performed as a soloist and with orchestra at venues throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the U.S. including Carnegie Hall. Ayman performs a wide range of the classical guitar repertoire, ranging from the traditional Spanish/Latin American, through Baroque and Classical, to contemporary music. Ayman has been described as a 'remarkable virtuoso' whose playing can leave listeners

'utterly charmed and extremely contented.'
